Company Information

We established Rebel Metal Fabricators Ltd. in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada in 2000, responding to a loud industry demand for truck and trailer mounted hydrovac and vacuum units. Now a wholly owned subsidiary of McCoy Corporation, we continue to serve the oil and gas, heavy industry, environment and municipal clients across North America, the US, South America and Middle East.

Currently, we are operating Rebel with 22 trained and professional employees, with a combined 35 years of experience in the industry. We are setup in approximately 13,000 sq. feet of manufacturing space and a newly added 11,500 sq. foot parts and service shop. When the new shop space opened in June of 2008 we saw the Rebel capacity skyrocket—going from 45-50 units per year up to 100 units—moving us into a leading position in the industry in terms of production.

Committed to pursuing greater efficiencies and performance, through dedicated research and development we have created leading products such as the Rebel Boom and the Self-Closing Valve Actuator.

We comply with the federal and provincial government safety regulations and maintain all necessary permits and licenses to operate Rebel Metal Fabrictors. Certifications include:

• ABSA Certificate of Authority to construct and repair ASME Section VIII Div 1 pressure vessels
• Transport Canada Certified Cargo Tank Inspection and Test Facility
• Transport Canada National Safety Mark for a Final Stage Manufacturer
• Alberta Transportation CVIP Inspection Shop
• CORE Safety Certification
• USA DOT Certified to Inspect US DOT Code Tanks Under CFR 49
